UCCS OIS Student Success Story: Caden
Caden just finished his Sophomore year at UCCS and has absolutely knocked it out of the park when it comes to campus involvement! He's been involved in many campus clubs/organizations, including RUF Christian Club, Active Minds Club, Speech and Debate Club, Art Club, Hiking Club, Social Work Club, and Sustainability Club. Through the RUF club, he's been on two big trips (one in the Rocky Mountains and one to Florida), and has built a strong community with his fellow club members. He loves helping and encouraging others and has participated in many community service projects through his club involvement.
Caden is an incredible artist- whether it’s drawing, constructing, sculpting, or learning a new medium, he gives it his all. He’s brought so much creativity and insight to his college art classes and beyond.
Caden submitted two of his art pieces to the UCCS Literary and Arts Journal, RIVERRUN, this Spring 2026, and was published in this year’s edition! He got to give a speech at the journal’s launch party to share the inspiration behind his artwork!
