I was born in Portland, Oregon, and grew up in a small southwestern Washington town called Camas. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in special education from Washington State University and am currently pursuing a master of arts in special education. My research focuses on physical activity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am passionate about supporting students with IDD to gain competitive integrated employment. 

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time with friends. I am brand new to Colorado and look forward to exploring the area.
